07/23/2008 - Kansas City, MO (Football Betting) - The Kansas City Chiefs signed second-round draft pick, cornerback Brandon Flowers to a four-year contract Wednesday.

Selected with the 35th overall pick of the 2008 NFL Draft, Flowers made 158 tackles -- 17 for losses -- to go with 3 1/2 sacks and 10 interceptions, returning two for touchdowns during his 41-game career at Virginia Tech.

Flowers earned first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors in 2007, recording 86 tackles, nine passes defensed and five interceptions for 93 yards and a touchdown while starting all 14 contests.
